Press Operative - Rotating Shifts

About the role

We are looking for a Press Operative to join our client’s manufacturing team in Tewkesbury. The role involves producing parts on press machines while adhering to health, safety and quality standards. After a basic training period you will work with limited supervision on a rotating shift pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a limited number of press machines safely and efficiently.
• Use guards and safety switches correctly.
• Locate materials and tooling and select the correct parts and machines for production.
• Handle tools and moulds safely and follow production paperwork and procedures.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and flexibly support other production areas as needed.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and good coordination.
• Flexible and adaptable mindset with excellent attendance and punctuality.

Required skills

• Operating press machines.
• Using safety guards and switches.
• Handling tools and moulds safely.
