Pricing Analyst

About the role

Supporting the Pricing and Underwriting team in the delivery of pricing activity across Pikl's insurance products and partnerships. The role is responsible for pricing analysis, portfolio monitoring and supporting the development of pricing models to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance actuarial pricing models across Pikl products.
• Conduct pricing and portfolio analysis to identify trends, opportunities and areas of concern.
• Monitor product and portfolio performance, including premium adequacy, loss ratios, rating performance and profitability.
• Support the pricing of new products, schemes and partnership opportunities.
• Produce pricing analyses, reports and recommendations to support business decision making.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Product and Partnerships teams to understand portfolio performance and risk drivers.
• Validate pricing models and rating structures on an ongoing basis.
• Integrate internal and external data sources and perform competitor and market analysis.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience in insurance pricing and actuarial work.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyse large datasets.
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborative approach with relationship‑building across teams.
