Pricing & Sales Operative – £38k + Commission

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pricing & Sales Operative to join our client’s team in Colnbrook. The role combines commercial pricing expertise with proactive sales support, helping to drive profitability and win new business.

Key responsibilities

• Review Request for Quotations (RFQs) and prepare accurate, competitive quotations.
• Develop pricing structures, conduct margin analysis and design discount strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure correct costing and feasibility.
• Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to inform commercial decisions.
• Maintain quotation pipelines and up‑to‑date pricing records.
• Generate new business through outbound calls, email outreach and networking.
• Manage client relationships as a primary point of contact and support account growth through upselling.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in pricing, sales support, quoting, or commercial/financial analysis.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with a high level of accuracy.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales or revenue targets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Own vehicle required for travel.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
