Primary Care Clinical Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Primary Care Clinical Lead to join the Primary Care team at HMP Eastwood Park, a female prison near Bristol. You will work within a multidisciplinary environment, providing clinical leadership and ensuring high‑quality care for patients in a secure setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and management to registered nurses and care teams.
• Deputise for the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required.
• Collaborate with external partners to maintain a robust, high‑quality clinical service.
• Drive clinical projects and model a culture of compassion, courage, and competence.
• Coach, line‑manage and develop clinician staff, supporting audits, governance and protocol development.
• Chair and facilitate healthcare meetings, provide clinical supervision and conduct investigations locally and regionally.

Required profile

• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Experience in primary care or similar clinical leadership roles.
• Ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, high‑quality care in a secure environment.
