About the role

Academics is partnering with primary schools in St. Albans to recruit enthusiastic Primary Class Teachers for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The role offers a supportive environment where teachers can focus on delivering engaging lessons and fostering each child's progress.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons for the assigned year group.
• Maintain effective classroom management and a safe learning environment.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and staff meetings.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in England.
• Recent experience teaching in a primary classroom.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Passion for creating inclusive, engaging learning experiences.
• Commitment to supporting every child's success.
