Primary Class Teacher – Year 6 (Tower Hamlets)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Primary Class Teacher to lead a Year 6 class in a high‑performing primary school in Tower Hamlets, starting September 2026. The role focuses on preparing pupils for KS2 assessments, building confidence and ensuring a smooth transition to secondary school.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the Year 6 curriculum in collaboration with the teaching team.
• Prepare students for SATs and other end‑of‑key‑stage assessments.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement.
• Contribute to shared planning and assessment systems across the year group.
• Support pupils’ personal development and wellbeing.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with solid experience teaching upper KS2.
• Confidence in delivering Year 6 lessons and assessment preparation.
• Strong organisational, resilient and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multi‑form team.
