Primary Early Career Teacher – September 2026 Start

About the role

Our partner primary school in Chelmsford is looking for an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join the team from September 2026. This full‑time, permanent position offers you the chance to teach either MPS1 or MPS2, with a supportive mentor and a strong induction programme.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver immersive, practical and engaging lessons for your chosen year group.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the varied abilities of pupils.
• Build positive relationships with students, families and staff.
• Prioritise pupils' wellbeing and foster a love of lifelong learning.
• Collaborate with a partner teacher and utilise dedicated PPA time.

Required profile

• Currently completing a SCITT/PGCE and ready for the first ECT role.
• Confident, adaptable and hard‑working with a passion for children.
• Creative, continuously seeking professional development.
• Committed to student wellbeing and inclusive practice.
