Primary ECT Teacher – Newbury Park (Full‑time, Temporary)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a popular mainstream primary school in Newbury Park, IG2. This full‑time, temporary position runs from September 2026 to July 2027 and offers classroom teaching supported by a strong senior leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Key Stage 2 curriculum across all core subjects.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and support staff to implement school initiatives.
• Participate in term‑time training and professional development sessions.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and complete all required checks.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year KS2 teaching experience in the UK.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS registered with the online update service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
