Primary Inclusion Teaching Assistant (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are recruiting an Inclusion Teaching Assistant for a thriving primary school in Slough. The role is permanent, full‑time and starts in September 2026. You will work closely with teachers, the SEN team and other professionals to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
• Deliver structured learning support and promote pupil independence.
• Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans, behaviour support plans and SEND provision.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
• Support effective behaviour management and contribute to a positive learning environment.
• Promote inclusion and equal access to learning opportunities for all pupils.

Required profile

• Experience working within an inclusion, SEND or educational setting, or a desire to develop a career in this area.
• Genuine passion for helping every child succeed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Resilient, flexible and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to adapt to changing needs of pupils and the school environment.
• Commitment to safeguarding and maintaining the highest professional standards.
