Primary Intervention Teacher – Maths & Literacy (All Key Stages)

About the role

We are partnering with a large primary trust across Maidstone and Medway to deliver high‑impact, targeted interventions in maths and literacy for pupils who need extra support. As a Primary Intervention Teacher you will work flexibly across several schools, delivering 1:1 and small‑group sessions that close learning gaps and raise attainment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver tailored intervention lessons for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils in maths and literacy.
• Conduct 1:1 and small‑group sessions, monitoring progress and adjusting approaches as needed.
• Collaborate with school staff and trust leadership to align interventions with the wider curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records of pupil performance and report outcomes to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Qualified primary teacher with experience delivering interventions.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
• Ability to work flexibly across multiple schools within the trust.
• Proactive attitude and commitment to improving pupil outcomes.

Required skills

• Experience in designing and delivering 1:1 and small‑group teaching sessions.
• Understanding of effective maths and literacy intervention strategies.
