Primary or Secondary Supply Teacher (Part‑time, Temporary)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable supply teachers to join our team on a temporary basis, covering short‑term absences and ensuring continuity of education for students. As a Supply Teacher you will deliver engaging and effective lessons across various grade levels.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching and learning experiences in line with the school’s curriculum and policies.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet diverse student needs and maintain continuity of learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure smooth transitions during teacher absences.
• Provide feedback on student progress and maintain accurate records as required.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching in educational settings (preferred but not essential).
• Strong classroom‑management abilities and the capacity to engage and motivate students.
• Flexibility, resilience and adaptability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with students, colleagues and parents.
