Primary PPA & Intervention Teacher (Flexible)

About the role

Would you prefer to teach without taking on your own permanent class? Aspire People are recruiting Primary Teachers interested in PPA teaching, intervention work and classroom cover from September 2026. This role offers variety and flexibility, allowing you to work across different year groups, deliver PPA lessons, support targeted interventions, and provide additional teaching cover where schools need you.

Key responsibilities

• Delivering PPA lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Providing planned classroom cover
• Leading small‑group interventions
• Supporting pupils with gaps in learning
• Delivering phonics, reading, English or maths interventions
• Working across different classes throughout the week
• Supporting schools during periods of staff absence

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent UK primary teaching experience
• Strong curriculum knowledge
• Confident classroom management
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classes
• Reliable and professional approach
