Primary PPA Teacher – Flexible Cover

About the role

Protocol Education is partnering with schools in Bristol (BS7) to provide qualified Primary Teachers for PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) cover on a long‑term, flexible basis. You will work directly in the classroom, delivering the curriculum and supporting pupils while enjoying full control over your schedule through a dedicated app.

Key responsibilities

• Provide PPA cover for primary classes, delivering lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Record assessments, progress notes and any relevant observations.
• Collaborate with school staff to follow policies and share relevant information.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Required profile

• Qualified Primary Teacher with appropriate UK teaching credentials.
• Eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
• Current enhanced DBS check and subscription to the DBS Update Service.
• Experience in primary education and ability to deliver PPA cover.
• Flexible availability to accept assignments via the scheduling app.
