Primary School Administrator (SIMS) – Full‑time

About the role
This position is for a friendly primary school administrator to work in the front office of a Newham based primary school with a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating. The role starts as soon as possible and runs on a full‑time, temporary basis, providing a welcoming first point of contact for visitors, parents and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome all visitors, parents and carers.
- Answer telephone enquiries and manage in‑person queries.
- Handle written correspondence and maintain accurate records.
- Use the SIMS school management system for daily administrative tasks.
- Provide general support to staff and assist with a wide range of school needs.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a school receptionist or administrator.
- Proven working knowledge of the SIMS system.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Availability to work 8:00 am‑4:00 pm, Monday‑Friday.
