Primary School Daily Supply Teacher

About the role

We are looking for fully qualified primary teachers (UK QTS or overseas‑trained with QTS) to provide daily supply cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in Maldon and the surrounding Essex area. This flexible role allows you to choose when and where you work, with immediate and ongoing starts available. It is ideal for teachers who want to step back from permanent class responsibilities or early‑career teachers seeking varied experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons and maintain classroom management across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 as required.
• Provide short‑term, long‑term or permanent supply cover, adapting quickly to each school’s routines and policies.

Required profile

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be eligible to work in the UK.
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management abilities.
• Be flexible, reliable and adaptable to different school environments.
• Show passion for teaching and supporting children throughout the primary phase.
• Confidence working across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 curricula.
• Early‑career teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
