Primary School PE Teacher (Full‑time, Temporary)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Physical Education (PE) Teacher for a thriving two‑form entry primary school in West London. The school has an Ofsted rating of “Good” and offers a supportive senior leadership team with ongoing training for staff. The role is full‑time and temporary, running from September 2026 to July 2027, with the possibility of extension or a permanent offer based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons for primary‑age pupils.
• Follow the school’s curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Maintain a safe and well‑equipped learning environment.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and fellow teachers to support student wellbeing.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of PE or primary teaching experience in the UK.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training completed within the last year.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and two professional references covering the last two years.

Required skills

• Ability to design and deliver age‑appropriate PE activities.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
