Primary School Receptionist / Administrator

About the role

Prospero Teaching is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Penge, South East London. From September 2026 they need a proactive Primary School Receptionist to manage the front‑of‑house and support the school office on a full‑time, fixed‑term basis.

Key responsibilities

• Handle reception duties, greet pupils, parents and visitors.
• Manage daily attendance, pupil data and reporting using Bromcom.
• Maintain accurate pupil records and support the school’s administrative processes.
• Communicate with parents, staff and external agencies on a professional basis.
• Provide general office support, including filing, mail handling and document preparation.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a School Administrator in a primary‑school setting.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) and right to work in the UK.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and confidentiality skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and contribute positively to the school community.
