Primary School Site Manager (Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the premises of a primary school in Haringey, London. The role is part‑time, Monday to Friday, 07:00‑12:00, and involves ensuring the school environment is safe, secure, and well‑maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations, including opening and closing the school.
• Maintain and secure the building, carrying out routine inspections and minor repairs.
• Coordinate with the Headteacher, Premises Manager, cleaning staff, and external contractors to meet high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Monitor security systems and ensure the site is free from intruders.
• Report any maintenance issues and follow up on corrective actions.

Required profile

• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
• Previous experience in a similar role within schools, colleges, or other educational settings.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one.

Required skills

• Knowledge of basic building maintenance and repair techniques.
• Ability to liaise effectively with staff, contractors, and external agencies.
