About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic KS2 supply teacher to join our network of primary schools across Croydon. This temporary, long‑term assignment offers the chance to maintain educational continuity for pupils while gaining experience in varied school environments.

Key responsibilities

Deliver pre‑planned lessons and uphold classroom routines in the regular teacher’s absence.
Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a safe, respectful learning atmosphere.
Adapt quickly to different school settings, building rapport with students and staff.
Assess pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and support learning objectives during short‑term placements.

Required profile

Qualified with PGCE, QTS, or HLTA Level 4.
Experience working with primary‑school children.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Flexibility to work on short notice and adapt to diverse teaching environments.
