Primary School Supply Teacher (Temporary)

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Primary School Supply Teacher to join our temporary teaching pool in Croydon. The role starts in September and offers long‑term cover across a range of primary schools, ensuring continuity of learning for pupils when regular teachers are absent.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons and maintain daily classroom routines.
- Manage behaviour and create a safe, respectful learning environment.
- Adapt quickly to different school settings, building rapport with students and staff.
- Assess pupil progress, provide feedback and support during short‑term placements.
Required profile
- Qualified with PGCE, QTS or HLTA Level 4.
- Experience working with primary‑age children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility to start on short notice and work across multiple schools.
- Commitment to safeguarding and willingness to undergo DBS checks.
