About the role

Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Year 2‑6 supply teachers for primary schools across Southampton and the wider Hampshire region. The role offers flexible, day‑to‑day assignments with immediate start dates, allowing you to support pupils while enjoying a balanced work schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons and adapt content to meet the needs of Year 2‑6 pupils.
• Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management.
• Integrate quickly into different school environments and follow each school's policies.
• Provide a safe, supportive learning atmosphere that encourages pupil development.

Required profile

• Previous experience teaching Year 2‑6 in a primary setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Adaptability and confidence working across various schools.
• Proactive, professional attitude with a passion for pupil learning.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
