Primary School Teacher – Flexible Supply & Long‑Term Roles

About the role

Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic Primary School Teachers to cover short‑term and long‑term assignments across Suffolk and the wider East Anglia region. You will work in classrooms ranging from Early Years to KS2, delivering the national curriculum and inspiring young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Early Years, KS1 and KS2 pupils.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a safe learning environment.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to support each child’s development.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Ability to travel up to 20 miles from your home address.
• Flexibility to work 1‑5 days per week, based on school needs.

Required skills

• Strong classroom management.
• Effective communication with pupils, staff and parents.
• Proficiency in using standard educational resources and classroom technology.
