About the role

Aspire People is recruiting primary teachers for a range of schools across Liverpool, Knowsley and Sefton, offering day‑to‑day, short‑term and long‑term supply assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons for primary pupils.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
• Adapt teaching to meet the diverse abilities and learning needs of pupils.
• Build constructive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
• Collaborate with school staff to uphold high standards of teaching and learning.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, supporting each child to reach their full potential.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Genuine passion for primary education and helping children succeed.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexible, enthusiastic and proactive approach to teaching.
• Ability to quickly build positive relationships within new school communities.
• Two professional references and an Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
