Primary School Teacher – Full-time Temporary Role

About the role

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Primary School Teacher for an Ofsted “Outstanding” primary school in West London. The role is full‑time, temporary until July 2027, with the possibility of extension or a permanent contract based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for a mixed‑age primary class.
• Assess student progress, mark work and provide feedback.
• Organise and attend parents’ evenings and contribute to whole‑school activities.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of primary teaching experience in the UK.
• Current safeguarding training (within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.

Required skills

• Classroom management.
• Lesson planning and curriculum delivery.
• Effective communication with parents and colleagues.
