Primary School Teacher – Full‑Time Supply Role

About the role

Reed Education is recruiting a Primary School Teacher for a well‑established primary school in Northampton, starting September 2026. This full‑time, long‑term supply position offers the chance to work within a supportive community that values high standards and pupil achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons aligned with the primary curriculum for Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
• Create an inclusive, stimulating learning environment that promotes academic, social and emotional growth.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement while managing classroom dynamics.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and support staff to support pupil progress.

Required profile

• Previous experience teaching in UK primary schools.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Passion for helping children reach their full potential.
• Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to diverse learner needs.
• QTS advantageous but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
