Primary School Teacher – Full‑time Temporary – Bexley

About the role

Prospero Teaching is partnering with a popular mainstream primary school in Bexley to recruit a full‑time Primary Teacher starting in September 2026. The role is temporary, running until the end of the academic year in July 2027, with the possibility of extension or a permanent offer based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classes.
• Mark assessments, record progress and provide feedback to pupils and parents.
• Participate in parents' evenings, staff meetings and school events.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment and follow safeguarding procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of teaching experience in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 within the UK.
• Current safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional references covering the last two years.

Required skills

• Classroom management.
• Lesson planning and assessment.
• Effective communication with parents and colleagues.
• Use of school IT systems for record‑keeping.
