Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons that excite and challenge young learners
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom where every child thrives

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
• Adapt teaching styles to support lower‑level students or SEND pupils

Required profile

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Team player with positivity, enthusiasm and fresh ideas
• Strong classroom management skills and a nurturing mindset
• Commitment to helping every child reach their full potential
• Previous experience teaching in a primary school (SEND experience advantageous)
• DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one
• Full‑time availability and based locally in Whitley Bay
