About the role

Prospero Teaching is recruiting Primary School Teachers for schools in Bristol. The role is suitable for both seasoned teachers and newly qualified teachers who are eager to deliver the national curriculum and inspire young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all pupils.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and external professionals.
• Contribute to wider school activities and initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Experience teaching in a primary‑school setting.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• Commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil development.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Adaptable, proactive and dedicated to high‑quality teaching.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the UK national curriculum for primary education.
• Ability to differentiate learning and assess pupil progress.
