Primary School Teacher (KS1 Specialist)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Primary School Teacher specialising in Key Stage 1 to join our supply pool for schools in Warrington and surrounding areas. The role starts in September 2026, offers a competitive daily rate and provides the opportunity to transition into a long‑term placement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, creative lessons for Year 1 and Year 2 pupils.
• Utilise systematic synthetic phonics programmes such as Read Write Inc. to develop confident early readers.
• Implement clear, positive behaviour management strategies to maintain a safe and focused classroom.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments, building rapport with pupils, staff and parents.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); both Early Career Teachers and experienced teachers are welcome.
• Genuine enthusiasm for teaching Key Stage 1 and supporting early years development.
• Calm, consistent approach to classroom management.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Required skills

• Knowledge of systematic synthetic phonics frameworks (e.g., Read Write Inc.).
• Ability to apply positive behaviour management techniques.
• Capacity to integrate swiftly into new school settings.
