Primary School Teaching Assistant – Brixham & Torbay

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistants to support classrooms in Brixham and the surrounding Torbay area. You will work alongside teachers to create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment for young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Work one‑to‑one or in small groups to boost pupil confidence and progress.
• Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Support classroom management and prepare learning resources.

Required profile

• Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach with children.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with children (schools, nurseries, youth clubs, coaching) is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to obtain a valid Enhanced DBS check.

• Daily rate of £92.56 – £95.00.
