Primary School Teaching Assistant – Full‑time/Part‑time

About the role
Join a vibrant primary school in South West England as a Teaching Assistant, supporting teachers and pupils throughout the school day. This role offers both full‑time and part‑time options, allowing you to develop your career in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Work one‑to‑one or in small groups to reinforce learning and boost pupil confidence.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom atmosphere.
- Support classroom management and prepare learning resources.
Required profile
- Patient, nurturing and adaptable attitude when working with children.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with children in schools, nurseries, youth clubs or coaching (desirable but not essential).
- Willingness to obtain a valid Enhanced DBS check.
