Primary School Teaching Assistant – KS1 Small Group & SEN Support

About the role
Join a vibrant primary school in the Borough of Brent as a Teaching Assistant. You will work with KS1 pupils, delivering one‑to‑one and small‑group support, and lead a dedicated nurture group for SEN learners.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personalised assistance to young learners, fostering confidence and curiosity.
- Run a nurture group that offers a calm, inclusive environment for SEN pupils.
- Collaborate closely with teachers to maintain a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere.
- Assist in lesson preparation and classroom management as needed.
Required profile
- Patient, resilient and kind with a genuine love for working with children.
- Experience supporting primary‑aged children, preferably with an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Teaching Assistance.
- Strong teamwork attitude and a commitment to continuous learning.
