About the role
Prospero Teaching is looking for enthusiastic Primary and SEN Supply Teachers to cover EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classes across the New Forest and surrounding Hampshire schools. The role offers flexible daily assignments or longer‑term placements, allowing you to fit teaching work around your personal schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum for EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of pupils with SEN, SEMH, ASC and other complex learning differences.
- Maintain classroom discipline, safety and inclusive learning environments.
- Provide seamless cover for absent teachers, ensuring continuity of learning.
- Follow all safeguarding policies and report concerns appropriately.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Minimum of one year experience working with children.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Two professional, child‑related references.
Required skills
- Strong classroom management and lesson‑planning abilities.
- Capability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
- Knowledge of EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curricula.
- Awareness of safeguarding procedures.
