Primary SEN Teacher – Newham

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Primary SEN Teacher to join a well‑resourced primary school in Newham from September 2026. The role focuses on delivering inclusive, differentiated learning for pupils with a range of special educational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of SEN pupils.
• Create and implement personalised learning strategies and interventions.
• Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external agencies to optimise outcomes.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting approaches as required.
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching pupils with SEN in either specialist or mainstream settings.
• Strong knowledge of inclusive teaching practices and differentiated learning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient, resilient and proactive attitude.
