Primary SEN Teacher – September start in Wythenshawe

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Primary SEN Teacher to join a nurturing and inclusive special educational needs school in Wythenshawe, starting in September. The role involves planning, delivering and assessing tailored lessons for pupils with a range of SEN, working closely with support staff, therapists and families to achieve the best outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess differentiated lessons that meet individual SEN needs.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Use a variety of strategies and interventions to support behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with support staff, external agencies, parents and the wider school team.
• Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate achievement records.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS).
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Nurturing, patient and flexible approach.
• Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.
• Genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
