Primary Supply Teacher – Daily & Long‑Term Contracts

About the role
Academics is looking for qualified primary teachers to provide short‑term and daily cover for schools across the Chiltern district. This role is ideal for teachers seeking additional work or a lighter commitment than full‑time employment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver daily or regular teaching sessions in primary schools throughout Chesham, Amersham, Chalfont St Peter, Chalfont St Giles and Little Chalfont.
- Provide flexible, short‑term cover for temporary staffing needs, with the possibility of longer‑term contracts.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for primary education.
- Experience working within primary schools.
- Passion for teaching and strong communication skills.

- Flexible arrangements – from one‑day‑per‑week contracts to longer‑term placements.
- Competitive daily rates (£150 +), with higher pay for extended contracts (MPS1‑MPS6).
