Primary Supply Teacher – East London Boroughs

About the role
Reeson Education is seeking qualified primary supply teachers to support schools across the East London boroughs, including Tower Hamlets, Newham, Barking and Dagenham. You will be placed on a day‑to‑day basis, filling short‑term or long‑term teaching gaps in EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classrooms.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the national curriculum and school‑specific lesson plans for assigned year groups.
- Maintain classroom discipline in line with each school's behaviour policy.
- Assess and record pupil progress, providing feedback to class teachers.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth handover before and after assignments.
Required profile
- Qualified to teach primary education in England (NQT status accepted).
- Proven experience in a classroom setting, preferably across EYFS to KS2.
- Strong classroom management and professional conduct.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational abilities.
Required skills
- Ability to follow and adapt existing lesson plans.
- Effective communication with pupils, staff and parents.
- Competence in using standard classroom technology (e.g., interactive whiteboards).
