Primary Supply Teacher – Flexible Daily & Long‑Term Roles

About the role
Reed is recruiting qualified primary teachers to provide daily and longer‑term supply cover across schools in Brighton & Hove and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible, on‑site teaching assignments that can suit both new and experienced educators seeking varied classroom experience.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, age‑appropriate lessons across the primary curriculum (EYFS, KS1, KS2).
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Follow existing lesson plans or adapt them confidently when required.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and support pupil wellbeing.
- Collaborate with school staff and support teams to ensure smooth lesson delivery.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Recent experience in a primary school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Flexible, proactive, and reliable approach to work.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
