Primary Supply Teacher – Flexible Daily Work

About the role

Reeson Education is seeking qualified primary supply teachers to cover daily requirements in schools across Maldon and the wider Essex area. This flexible role allows you to work 1‑5 days per week, gaining regular income while showcasing your teaching expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 pupils in line with the UK curriculum.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Maintain accurate pupil records and assessment data.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth handover between supply and permanent teachers.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and promote a safe learning environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS with a valid Teacher Reference Number (TRN).
• Demonstrated experience teaching in UK primary schools.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS‑KS2 curriculum.
• Passion for education and a commitment to student welfare.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the UK primary curriculum (EYFS, KS1, KS2).
• Classroom management and lesson planning abilities.
• Effective communication with pupils, staff and parents.
