About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to provide high‑quality classroom cover across a range of welcoming primary schools in Chelmsford. The role offers daily, short‑term or long‑term assignments, allowing you to build experience in different school environments while enjoying competitive daily rates.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver preset lessons and ensure pupils complete tasks within the allocated time.
• Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and follow each school’s policies.
• Adapt quickly to varying school settings and timetables.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, teaching staff and support personnel.
• Provide reliable cover on a flexible, as‑needed basis.

Required profile

• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Demonstrated experience teaching in UK primary schools.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management capabilities.
• Professional, reliable and adaptable approach to varied assignments.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
