Primary Supply Teacher – Flexible Part‑Time Roles in South West London

About the role

Academics is seeking enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to cover short‑term and long‑term absences across schools in Wandsworth, Merton and Lambeth. The role offers flexible, part‑time days that fit around your personal schedule while delivering high‑quality education to EYFS, KS1 and KS2 pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across two or more primary year groups.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a supportive learning environment.
• Adapt existing curriculum materials to meet the needs of each class.
• Provide accurate assessment feedback and record keeping.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth handover between supply and permanent teachers.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Ability to work flexibly on short notice.
• Strong communication skills with pupils, staff and parents.
