Primary Supply Teacher – Flexible Part‑time Roles

About the role

Reed Education is looking for qualified Primary Supply Teachers to work on a flexible, part‑time or ad‑hoc basis across schools in Burgess Hill. This role is ideal for teachers who want to supplement existing work, fit teaching around personal commitments, or return to the classroom after a break.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons following the provided curriculum and lesson plans.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of pupils.
• Create a positive learning environment that encourages participation.
• Maintain classroom order and discipline.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback as required.
• Communicate effectively with school staff and parents.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in primary education.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for education and teaching.
