Primary Supply Teacher – Flexible Role in St Albans

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Primary Supply Teacher to provide cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classes in schools around St. Albans. The role offers immediate start dates and the flexibility to choose assignments that fit your personal schedule, whether part‑time or short‑term.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons and maintain curriculum continuity for early years and primary pupils.
• Adapt teaching resources to suit diverse classroom needs and varying year groups.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe, supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and senior staff to assess student progress.
• Complete required administrative tasks such as marking and reporting.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent experience in primary education.
• Flexibility to work across multiple schools and adapt quickly to new settings.
• Strong communication skills with pupils, staff and parents.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of pupil welfare and safeguarding.

Required skills
