About the role
Academics is seeking confident primary teachers to provide flexible, on‑site cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in schools located in Wandsworth, Merton and Lambeth. The role is ideal for teachers who need a schedule that fits around other commitments and who can work on a day‑by‑day basis.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons for one or more primary year groups (EYFS, KS1, KS2).
- Provide short‑term cover for unplanned teacher absences, course cover and longer‑term assignments.
- Maintain classroom discipline and follow each school's policies and procedures.
- Adapt quickly to different school environments and curricula.
Required profile
- Qualified primary teacher with the ability to teach two or more year groups.
- Flexible availability to work part‑time or full‑time on days that suit you.
- Willingness to register promptly and start assignments within five days of approval.
