About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to provide flexible, short‑term cover for schools in Hailsham and the surrounding South East England area. This role is ideal for qualified teachers who want to work around their personal commitments while gaining varied classroom experience.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the planned curriculum and maintain a safe, supportive learning environment.
- Adapt lesson plans quickly to meet the needs of each class you cover.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure seamless transitions during temporary placements.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and pupil progress.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Current, clean DBS check.
- Teaching experience in a primary school within the last five years.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.

What we offer
- Flexible scheduling – work as little or as often as you like.
- Daily rate between £110 and £130.
- £250 referral bonus for each teacher you recommend who joins.
- Personal support from a local Hays education consultant.
