About the role
Prospero Teaching is looking for reliable Primary Supply Teachers to cover day‑to‑day bookings across primary schools in Harlow and surrounding areas. The role starts as soon as possible and offers the flexibility to work full‑time or part‑time on a temporary basis.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver planned lessons across the full primary age range.
- Maintain effective behaviour management and a positive learning environment.
- Build quick rapport with pupils and adapt to each school’s routines.
- Follow safeguarding policies and ensure student safety.
- Complete any required administrative tasks and reporting.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with primary teaching experience.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) on the Update Service.
- Two professional child‑related references.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (desirable).
