Primary Supply Teacher – Key Stage 2 (KS2)

About the role

Reed Education is seeking qualified Primary Supply Teachers for Key Stage 2 across schools in Kent and Medway. These short‑term or long‑term assignments allow you to deliver engaging lessons while enjoying flexible working patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver KS2 lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
• Maintain a positive, disciplined classroom environment.
• Assess and record student progress, preparing them for national assessments.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practice and learning outcomes.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and educational standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Effective classroom management skills.
• Experience with SEND and intervention is highly desirable.
