Primary Supply Teacher – Part‑time (Barnet)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Primary Supply Teacher to support a popular mainstream primary school in Barnet. The role involves covering classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 on a part‑time basis during term time. It offers the chance to gain experience in a supportive environment with potential for contract extension or a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Cover classrooms across Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 as required.
• Deliver lesson plans, assess student progress and provide feedback.
• Maintain classroom management, health and safety standards, and uphold safeguarding policies.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of teaching experience in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 within the UK.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training completed within the last year.
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.

Required skills

• Ability to plan and deliver curriculum for early years and primary phases.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management techniques.

What we offer

• Daily rate between £170 and £230.
• Part‑time schedule: 8:30 am‑4:00 pm, Monday‑Tuesday (term time only).
