Primary Supply Teacher – Stroud (Full‑time/Temporary)

About the role

Reed Education is seeking qualified Primary Supply Teachers for schools in Stroud and the surrounding Gloucestershire area. The role offers flexible, full‑time or part‑time assignments, allowing you to deliver pre‑planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 while supporting pupils’ progress and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned curriculum content to classes ranging from early years to year 6.
• Maintain a positive, well‑managed classroom environment and uphold safeguarding procedures.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and follow each school’s policies.
• Support individual pupil learning, monitor progress and contribute to wellbeing initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS) or Early Career Teacher.
• Experience in primary education is desirable but not mandatory.
• Flexibility to work across multiple schools in Stroud, Cheltenham, Gloucester and Tewkesbury.
• Ability to build relationships with staff and pupils quickly.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the National Curriculum for primary education.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
