Primary Supply Teacher – West Sussex (Flexible)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to work on a temporary basis across a variety of primary schools in West Sussex. This flexible role is ideal for teachers who want day‑to‑day supply work or longer‑term placements in coastal, rural, or town settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age‑appropriate lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment.
• Follow provided lesson plans or confidently adapt them as needed.
• Support pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and development.
• Collaborate with school staff and support teams.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience in a UK primary school (EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2).
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
